R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Rusty Senac was named 2014 Person of the Year by the
  West Chambers County Chamber of Commerce; and
         WHEREAS, An admired public servant, Mr. Senac is now in his
  second term as a Chambers County commissioner; he previously served
  for a decade as mayor of Beach City, and he was a member of the city
  council for 11 years; in all these roles, he has demonstrated
  exceptional commitment and a strong command of the issues; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Senac gives generously of his time and talents
  as a member of the Barbers Hill Lions Club and as a director of the
  Portrait of a Warrior gallery; moreover, he has served the business
  community on the boards of the chambers of commerce for Baytown and
  West Chambers County, and he is a former member of the Economic
  Development Foundation, the Bayou Bowl, and the Coastal Water
  Authority; and
         WHEREAS, For many years, Mr. Senac was the president of
  Medical Marketing Services, and his clients included a variety of
  medical organizations, among them laboratories, physicians'
  groups, and clinics; he retired in 1992 and became a consultant; and
         WHEREAS, The vitality of a community depends in large measure
  on the vision and dedication of its leaders, and through his public
  service and civic engagement, Rusty Senac has contributed
  significantly to the betterment of Chambers County; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Rusty Senac on his selection as the
  2014 Person of the Year by the West Chambers County Chamber of
  Commerce and extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and,
  be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Senac as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
