R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may bring comfort to
  the family and friends of Jimmie Lou Robinson of Mineola, who passed
  away on August 17, 2014, at the age of 95; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Ernest and Kalita Webster, the
  former Jimmie Lou Webster was born in Collin County on August 29,
  1918; she exchanged vows with Tom Robinson on June 10, 1940, in
  Denton, and the couple shared in the joy of becoming parents to two
  daughters, Bonita and Sally; with the passing years, their family
  grew to include four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Robinson graduated from the Wilson and Jones
  nursing school in Sherman and moved to College Station in 1958;
  "Nurse Jimmie," as she was affectionately called by patients,
  worked in the office of Dr. O. C. Cooper for nearly a
  quarter-century, and she was named Nurse of the Year in the
  Bryan-College Station area in 1974; and
         WHEREAS, This beloved woman subsequently moved to East Texas
  to be near her daughter and her family; she delighted in
  entertaining her grandchildren and made many new friends; she also
  enjoyed playing 42 and watching Aggie sports; and
         WHEREAS, Jimmie Lou Robinson lived a caring and purposeful
  life, and she will forever be remembered with deep affection by all
  who held her close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Jimmie Lou Robinson
  and extend sincere condolences to the members of her family: to her
  daughters, Bonita Howell and her husband, Gayland, and Sally Horn
  and her husband, Vic; to her grandchildren and their spouses, Jeff
  and Kim Howell, John and Stacy Horn, Michele and Chris Slauer, and
  Sheri Miller; to her great-grandchildren, Bret, Brady, and Brenna
  Howell, Jake, Josh, and Zack Slauer, and Kyle and Brock Miller; and
  to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jimmie Lou
  Robinson.
