R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Starla Wade received well-deserved recognition when |
|
|
she was named Student of the Week at Jasper Junior High School in |
|
|
2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of proud parents Jarl and Roseanne |
|
|
Wade, Starla Wade has distinguished herself through her academic |
|
|
achievements and through her involvement in a variety of sports, |
|
|
including softball, volleyball, basketball, and track and field; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Starla Wade has proven herself a leader both in and |
|
|
out of the classroom, and her great ability and initiative predict a |
|
|
bright and fulfilling future for this notable young Texan; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Starla Wade on her selection as |
|
|
Jasper Junior High School Student of the Week and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Wade as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
