R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Allen Neel retired as the administrator of the |
|
|
Coryell County Road and Bridge Department on March 31, 2015, after |
|
|
more than two decades of dedicated service to his fellow residents; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 23-year veteran of the department, Mr. Neel |
|
|
counted among his many responsibilities responding to road-related |
|
|
crises at any hour of the day or night and helping to inspect and |
|
|
maintain the 625 miles of public roads and bridges in Coryell |
|
|
County; he has distinguished himself as administrator since 2011, |
|
|
earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues and the |
|
|
public; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Neel joins his wife, Lynda, in retirement, and |
|
|
together they look forward to traveling and spending more time with |
|
|
family; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Allen Neel's dedication, professionalism, and |
|
|
commitment to excellence have greatly benefited the citizens of |
|
|
Coryell County, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his |
|
|
achievements as he embarks on the next exciting chapter of his life; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Allen Neel on his retirement as |
|
|
administrator of the Coryell County Road and Bridge Department and |
|
|
extend to him sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Neel as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
