R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Von Beougher was named Citizen of the Year at the |
|
|
Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon on |
|
|
January 27, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Lewisville chamber celebrates the |
|
|
achievements of individuals and businesses who have made notable |
|
|
contributions to the organization or who have otherwise benefited |
|
|
their fellow citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A respected business leader, Mr. Beougher serves as |
|
|
the president of G&A Consultants in Lewisville; he has been active |
|
|
in the community over the course of two decades, volunteering his |
|
|
time to support a number of worthwhile endeavors; his involvement |
|
|
was especially helpful in funding the construction of a new |
|
|
building for the Lewisville chamber, and he is a graduate and strong |
|
|
advocate of the Leadership Lewisville development program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional efforts, Von Beougher has |
|
|
furthered Lewisville's reputation as a great place to live, work, |
|
|
and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this prestigious |
|
|
award; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Von Beougher on being named Citizen |
|
|
of the Year by the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Beougher as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
