R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dan Irvin was named Ambassador of the Year at the |
|
|
Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon on |
|
|
January 27, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each year, the Lewisville chamber celebrates the |
|
|
achievements of individuals and businesses who have made notable |
|
|
contributions to the organization or who have otherwise benefited |
|
|
their fellow citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A campus executive officer at National American |
|
|
University, Mr. Irvin regularly attends chamber functions and |
|
|
shares his business expertise with fellow members; he has been |
|
|
active in the organization's Ambassador Program, serving in |
|
|
important leadership positions and helping to promote |
|
|
participation in chamber activities and initiatives; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his exceptional efforts, Dan Irvin has |
|
|
furthered Lewisville's reputation as a great place to live, work, |
|
|
and raise a family, and he is indeed deserving of this prestigious |
|
|
award; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dan Irvin on being named Ambassador |
|
|
of the Year by the Lewisville Area Chamber of Commerce and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Irvin as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
