R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, The Republican Women of North Collin County are
  visiting Austin on April 16, 2015, to celebrate Texas Federation of
  Republican Women Day at the State Capitol; and
         WHEREAS, Founded in 2011, the Republican Women of North
  Collin County are affiliated with both the TFRW and the National
  Federation of Republican Women; the volunteer group serves Frisco,
  McKinney, Celina, Prosper, and all areas of the county north of
  Plano, striving to empower women and to enlist their support in the
  cause of good government; and
         WHEREAS, The members of this notable organization are
  dedicated to informing the public, encouraging voter
  participation, and electing their party's candidates to office; in
  addition, the group hosts a monthly speaker series featuring public
  officials, civic leaders, and national figures who address a
  variety of important topics; the organization also offers
  opportunities to contribute to numerous service projects, and it
  sponsors scholarships for promising young women; and
         WHEREAS, Through their active civic engagement, the members
  of the Republican Women of North Collin County are making a positive
  difference in their community, and it is indeed a pleasure to
  welcome them to Austin on their legislative day; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor the Republican Women of North Collin
  County on the occasion of Texas Federation of Republican Women Day
  at the State Capitol and extend to all those in attendance sincere
  best wishes for an enjoyable and productive event; and, be it
  further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the organization as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
