R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The death of Bobby Dean Jones of Gatesville on
  January 14, 2015, at the age of 79, deeply saddened his family and
  friends; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Gatesville on October 12, 1935, Bobby Jones
  was the son of Herschel Jones and Gladys "Dollie" Walker Jones;
  after graduating from Gatesville High School in 1954, he served his
  country in the United States Army Reserve, and he played football at
  Tarleton State University and Midwestern State University; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Jones married the former Jane Sadler on July 3,
  1958; the couple became the proud parents of four sons, Richard,
  Brian, Philip, and Robert, and in later years, Mr. Jones knew the
  joy of welcoming five treasured grandchildren into his family; and
         WHEREAS, Early in his career, Mr. Jones worked for Deck Boat
  Incorporated, and he went on to become the co-owner of Killeen Boats
  and Motors and Gatesville Boats and Motors; he was an active member
  of the Gatesville Jaycees, as well as a longtime supporter of
  Gatesville High School athletics and the Gatesville Country Club;
  in his leisure time, he enjoyed boating, golf, and attending his
  children's and his grandchildren's sporting events; and
         WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in the friendship
  and love of Bobby Jones will always remember him with great
  admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Bobby Dean Jones and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  wife, Jane Jones; to his sons, Richard Jones and his wife, Yvette,
  Brian Jones and his wife, Sandy, Philip Jones and his wife, Kim, and
  Robert Jones and his wife, Marsha; to his grandchildren, Bobby,
  Amy, Brooke, Raquel, and Jackson Jones; and to his other relatives
  and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Bobby Dean
  Jones.
