R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may help comfort those
  saddened by the passing of William Robert Craddock of Winnsboro on
  February 15, 2015, at the age of 70; and
         WHEREAS, Rob Craddock was born in Winnsboro on February 20,
  1944, to Donald Owen and Bobbie Rodgers Craddock; he was married to
  the love of his life, Betty, for 47 years, and the couple shared in
  the joy of raising three children, Robin, Amber, and Jarred; and
         WHEREAS, A veteran of the United States Navy, Mr. Craddock
  worked as an electrician for Rockwell International until his
  retirement; he also served as a volunteer firefighter in Winnsboro
  for many years, until an accident on the way to a fire in 1982 left
  him with pain and difficulty walking; and
         WHEREAS, Despite his injury, Mr. Craddock lived his life with
  optimism and found further strength in his faith and his family; he
  was a valued member of First United Methodist Church in Winnsboro,
  and he treasured the time he spent with his loved ones and delighted
  in watching his grandchildren play sports; and
         WHEREAS, Although Rob Craddock is deeply missed, his warm and
  generous nature, good humor, and determination to remain engaged in
  the world around him will forever be a source of inspiration to all
  those who were fortunate enough to know him; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of William Robert
  Craddock and extend heartfelt condolences to the members of his
  family: to his wife, Betty Craddock; to his children, Robin
  Craddock, Amber Craddock Johnson and her husband, Mike, and Jarred
  Craddock and his wife, Shannon; to his sister, Julie Reiter, and her
  husband, Mike; to his sister-in-law, Glenda Presley, and her
  husband, Wendell; to his grandchildren, Ryan and Reagan Johnson and
  Owen Eli and Zoe Craddock; to his nephews, Mike and Mark Safford and
  Mike, Mark, and Mitch Presley; and to his other relatives and
  friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Rob
  Craddock.
