R E S O L U T I O N

|
WHEREAS, Sharing a deep bond of love that has spanned five |
|
|
decades, Ed and Anne Watts of Lindale celebrated their 50th wedding |
|
|
anniversary on December 31, 2014; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Watts exchanged the vows of matrimony |
|
|
at First Baptist Church in Lindale on that memorable day in 1964, |
|
|
and over the course of their marriage, they have found in each other |
|
|
a devoted life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Watts count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their two sons, Eddie and Matt, their |
|
|
daughter-in-law, Stacy, as well as their six granddaughters, with |
|
|
whom they treasure spending many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Looking back over the past 50 years, Ed and Anne |
|
|
Watts can savor a wealth of cherished family memories and know that |
|
|
the strength of their love and commitment ensures that many more |
|
|
joyful times await them; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ed and Anne Watts on their 50th |
|
|
wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
