R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The city of Socorro has greatly benefited from the |
|
|
dedicated efforts of City Council Representative Gloria Rodriguez; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A Socorro native, Representative Rodriguez was a |
|
|
volunteer with the Civil Service Commission for nine years before |
|
|
running for city council, and her knowledge and expertise in a wide |
|
|
range of community issues have earned her the respect of many people |
|
|
along the way; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of |
|
|
life for their fellow citizens in numerous ways, and the efforts of |
|
|
Gloria Rodriguez are helping to make Socorro an even better place in |
|
|
which to live and work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Socorro City Council Representative |
|
|
Gloria Rodriguez for her exemplary public service and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
