R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever treasure their
  memories of Annette Marie Galitski of Amarillo, who died on June 5,
  2014, at the age of 75; and
         WHEREAS, The former Annette Blazina was born in Atlas,
  Pennsylvania, on September 27, 1938, to John and Leona Blazina;
  after graduating from Mt. Carmel Catholic High School, she married
  Frank Galitski in 1958, and they went on to share 55 years together;
  the couple were blessed with three children, Frank, Linda, and
  John, and their family later grew to include eight grandchildren
  and two great-grandchildren; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Galitski was a devoted mother and homemaker who
  delighted in cooking for her loved ones; in addition to living for a
  time in Iran and South Korea, she and her husband traveled
  extensively in Europe and enjoyed trips to China, Australia, and
  New Zealand, as well as to the Amazon, Easter Island, the Galapagos
  Islands, and the Panama Canal; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Galitski expressed her strong religious faith
  as a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church; she was also
  an avid reader, and she remained true to her Pennsylvania roots as a
  lifelong fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers; and
         WHEREAS, A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Annette
  Galitski lived a full and generous life, and she will long be
  remembered with deep affection by all those who knew and loved her;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Annette Marie
  Galitski and extend sincere condolences to the members of her
  family: to her husband, Frank R. Galitski; to her children, Frank
  V. Galitski, Linda Roberts, and John Galitski; to her
  grandchildren, Daniel, Gina, Steven, Anna, Jarrott, Chelsea,
  Russell, and Dakota; to her great-grandchildren, Tayton and Zander;
  and to her other relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Annette
  Galitski.
