R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Kathryne and Raegan Padgett have distinguished
  themselves as vital members of the Hardin-Jefferson High School
  girls' soccer team; and
         WHEREAS, Lettering in soccer for three years, these tenacious
  sisters helped lead the Lady Hawks throughout an exceptional 2015
  regular season, during which the team compiled a stellar record of
  19 wins, 2 losses, and 2 ties en route to capturing the first girls'
  soccer district title in school history; the young women further
  paced their team at this year's University Interscholastic League
  regional tournament, delivering fine performances in wins over
  Gatesville, Lorena, and Brazosport High Schools to advance to the
  Class 4A Region III finals match, where their season drew to a close
  with a hard-fought 3-2 loss against Jasper High School; and
         WHEREAS, Benefiting from the guidance of head coach Jorge
  Hernandez, senior Kathryne Padgett will be continuing her athletic
  career at the University of St. Thomas in Houston in the fall, while
  junior Raegan Padgett will be returning to the Lady Hawks in the
  2015-2016 school year; and
         WHEREAS, These talented young Texans have pursued their goals
  with remarkable drive and an unwavering dedication to excellence,
  and they are indeed a source of great pride for their family, their
  classmates, and the many supporters of Hardin-Jefferson High
  athletics; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Kathryne and Raegan Padgett on
  their accomplishments as members of the Hardin-Jefferson High
  School girls' soccer team and extend to them sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the Padgett sisters as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
