R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Vicente Delgadillo can take well-deserved pride in |
|
|
the outstanding service he has rendered to his community as a member |
|
|
of the San Elizario Independent School District Board of Trustees; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In a job that requires the commitment of public |
|
|
support and effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and |
|
|
administrators, Mr. Delgadillo has worked tirelessly to advance |
|
|
the quality of schools in his district; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In addition to his 15-year tenure with the school |
|
|
board, Mr. Delgadillo has distinguished himself as a skilled horse |
|
|
trainer and a longtime supporter of the San Elizario High School |
|
|
football program; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to the students |
|
|
and staff of San Elizario ISD, Vicente Delgadillo has helped foster |
|
|
a supportive and challenging educational environment, and in so |
|
|
doing, he has earned the respect and appreciation of his fellow |
|
|
residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Vicente Delgadillo for his service on the |
|
|
San Elizario ISD Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Delgadillo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
