R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jose Rodriguez can take well-deserved pride in the |
|
|
outstanding service he has rendered to his community as a member of |
|
|
the San Elizario Independent School District Board of Trustees; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In a job that requires the commitment of public |
|
|
support and effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and |
|
|
administrators, Mr. Rodriguez has worked tirelessly to advance the |
|
|
quality of schools in his district; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Rodriguez joined the board in 2006 and currently |
|
|
serves as vice president; a graduate of San Elizario High School, he |
|
|
worked for the school district for 13 years as a teaching aide and |
|
|
coach and was named the Homecoming Honored Ex in 2010; today, he is |
|
|
pursuing a doctoral degree; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to the students |
|
|
and staff of San Elizario ISD, Jose Rodriguez has helped foster a |
|
|
supportive and challenging educational environment, and in so |
|
|
doing, he has earned the respect and appreciation of his fellow |
|
|
residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Jose Rodriguez for his service on the San |
|
|
Elizario ISD Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Rodriguez as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
