R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Antonio Araujo can take well-deserved pride in the |
|
|
outstanding service he has rendered as a member of the San Elizario |
|
|
Independent School District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In a job that requires the commitment of public |
|
|
support and effective collaboration with parents, teachers, and |
|
|
administrators, Mr. Araujo has worked tirelessly to advance the |
|
|
quality of schools in his district; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This notable Texan joined the board in 1994 and is |
|
|
currently serving his fourth term as its president; a job counselor |
|
|
with the Texas Workforce Commission, he has previously acted as |
|
|
director of Organización Progresiva de San Elizario, and he played |
|
|
a vital role in the establishment of the San Elizario Food Bank in |
|
|
2010; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his unwavering dedication to the students |
|
|
and staff of San Elizario ISD, Antonio Araujo has helped foster a |
|
|
supportive and challenging educational environment, and in so |
|
|
doing, he has earned the respect and appreciation of his fellow |
|
|
residents; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Antonio Araujo for his service to the San |
|
|
Elizario ISD Board of Trustees and extend to him sincere best wishes |
|
|
for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Araujo as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
