R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Members of the Midway High School chapter of HOSA: |
|
|
Future Health Professionals have set an inspiring example of giving |
|
|
through their contributions to the City of Hewitt; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In dedication to the memory of LaCharles Montgomery, |
|
|
a Midway High alumnus who lost his life in an automobile accident |
|
|
caused by flooding, these generous students have helped raise funds |
|
|
for the city's purchase of flood warning signs to alert drivers of |
|
|
unsafe road conditions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through their thoughtful actions, these fine young |
|
|
Texans have made a positive difference in their community, and they |
|
|
are indeed deserving of recognition; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Midway High School HOSA members for |
|
|
their donation to the City of Hewitt and extend to each of them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the club as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
