R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Five talented vocalists from Tennyson Middle School |
|
|
in Waco were named to the Texas Music Educators Association |
|
|
All-Region 8 Choir in 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Selection to the All-Region Choir represents a |
|
|
distinctive honor for choir students in Texas, who advance to this |
|
|
level by achieving top performance ratings as determined by a panel |
|
|
of TMEA judges; the students from Tennyson Middle School chosen for |
|
|
the ensemble were Ali Pendleton, Michael Wood, Andrew Ramirez, |
|
|
Haden Singletary, and Kaleb Martin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, These gifted young Texans have demonstrated their |
|
|
commitment to excellence through hard work and many hours of |
|
|
practice, and they can take justifiable pride in their outstanding |
|
|
achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ali Pendleton, Michael Wood, |
|
|
Andrew Ramirez, Haden Singletary, and Kaleb Martin on their |
|
|
selection as TMEA All-Region 8 Choir members and extend to them |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared |
|
|
for the students as an expression of high regard by the Texas House |
|
|
of Representatives. |
