R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Nine members of the Evadale High School girls'
  basketball team received District 24-2A all-district awards for
  their exceptional play during the 2014-2015 season; and
         WHEREAS, Hannah Oldbury was named the Co-Most Valuable
  Player, while Hannah Conner was selected Co-Defensive Player of the
  Year and Michaela Terry was tabbed as the Newcomer of the Year; in
  addition, Coach Robert Hollyfield was honored as Coach of the Year;
  and
         WHEREAS, The All-District First Team includes Haleigh
  Oldbury and Savannah Richardson, while Erin Bertrand was picked for
  the Second Team; Torie Langston and Wendy Williams received
  honorable mention nods; and
         WHEREAS, The all-district awards provide fitting
  acknowledgement of the talent, hard work, and commitment to
  excellence demonstrated by these exemplary student-athletes, and
  they may take justifiable pride in their achievements; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate the all-district basketball
  players from Evadale High School and extend to them best wishes for
  continued success in all their endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for the players as an expression of high regard by the
  T
  exas House of Representatives.
