R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times and
  meaningful accomplishments remain to comfort the family and friends
  of Kimberly Plunket Lindig of Houston, who passed away on November
  25, 2013, at the age of 53; and
         WHEREAS, The former Kimberly Plunket was born on August 2,
  1960, to George and Aida Plunket; she spent much of her life in
  Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she graduated from Glen Oaks High
  School in 1978; this beloved woman shared a rewarding and
  supportive marriage with her husband, Brad Lindig, and was a
  devoted mother to her daughter, Kate; and
         WHEREAS, After a successful modeling career, Ms. Lindig
  worked with the Sysco Corporation for 15 years; she went on to
  attend Houston Baptist University and received a bachelor's degree
  in Christianity in 2011; she then became a Bible teacher at Second
  Baptist School, where she was treasured for her generous spirit,
  her unfailing kindness, and her deep and steadfast faith; and
         WHEREAS, While Kimberly Lindig's days were far too few, the
  zest and radiance with which she lived her life will continue to
  sustain and inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her, and
  they will forever hold her close in their hearts; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Kimberly Plunket
  Lindig and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
  her husband, Brad Lindig; to her daughter, Kate; to her parents,
  George and Aida Plunket; to her brothers, David and Todd Plunket;
  and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kimberly
  Plunket Lindig.
