R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at
  the untimely death of William Oliver Rumley of Corpus Christi, who
  passed away on February 2, 2014, at the age of six; and
         WHEREAS, Ollie Rumley was born in Corpus Christi on January
  14, 2008, to Sherry and David Rumley; he was a graduate of The Rise
  School and a kindergarten student at Incarnate Word Academy, where
  he shared a close bond with his classmates; and
         WHEREAS, A deeply spiritual boy, Ollie demonstrated faith and
  compassion beyond his years; he took great pleasure in spending
  time with his friends and family and enjoyed taking walks, watching
  movies with his brother, Jack, playing Nerf basketball with his
  brother, Zachary, and helping out in the garden; and
         WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth was far too brief,
  Ollie Rumley brought great joy to the lives of his loved ones, and
  they will forever carry him close in their hearts; now, therefore,
  be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of William Oliver Rumley
  and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his
  parents, Sherry and David Rumley; to his brothers, Zachary and Jack
  Rumley; to his Nana and Papa, Vicky and Bert Rumley; to his
  grandparents, Marcia and Terry Lierman; and to his other relatives
  and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of William
  Oliver Rumley.
