R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at |
|
the untimely death of William Oliver Rumley of Corpus Christi, who |
|
passed away on February 2, 2014, at the age of six; and |
|
WHEREAS, Ollie Rumley was born in Corpus Christi on January |
|
14, 2008, to Sherry and David Rumley; he was a graduate of The Rise |
|
School and a kindergarten student at Incarnate Word Academy, where |
|
he shared a close bond with his classmates; and |
|
WHEREAS, A deeply spiritual boy, Ollie demonstrated faith and |
|
compassion beyond his years; he took great pleasure in spending |
|
time with his friends and family and enjoyed taking walks, watching |
|
movies with his brother, Jack, playing Nerf basketball with his |
|
brother, Zachary, and helping out in the garden; and |
|
WHEREAS, Although his time on this earth was far too brief, |
|
Ollie Rumley brought great joy to the lives of his loved ones, and |
|
they will forever carry him close in their hearts; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of William Oliver Rumley |
|
and extend sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his |
|
parents, Sherry and David Rumley; to his brothers, Zachary and Jack |
|
Rumley; to his Nana and Papa, Vicky and Bert Rumley; to his |
|
grandparents, Marcia and Terry Lierman; and to his other relatives |
|
and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of William |
|
Oliver Rumley. |
