R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Bridget Guien has ably served the constituents of |
|
House District 19 as an intern in the office of State Representative |
|
James White during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Guien has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
WHEREAS, A former resident of Niceville, Florida, Ms. Guien |
|
graduated from Niceville High School in 2014; she is now studying |
|
economics at The University of Texas at Austin, where she expects to |
|
earn her degree in May 2018, and she is also active in the College |
|
Republicans at Texas as the club's communications director; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young woman has performed her |
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Bridget Guien for her service as a |
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative James |
|
White and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Ms. Guien as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
