R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, William Hon has ably served his fellow Texans as an |
|
|
intern in the office of State Representative James White during the |
|
|
84th Legislature; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Hon has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |
|
|
addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 2012 graduate of Livingston High School, Mr. Hon |
|
|
is attending Sam Houston State University, where he is majoring in |
|
|
agricultural business and minoring in legal studies; he is a member |
|
|
of Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity and the Delta Tau Alpha Agricultural |
|
|
Honor Society, and after his graduation in May 2016, he hopes to |
|
|
pursue a career in oil and gas law; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend William Hon for his service as a |
|
|
legislative intern in the office of State Representative James |
|
|
White and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in |
|
|
all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hon as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
