R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Zackary Griffin of Wolf City has ably served his
  fellow Texans as an intern in the office of State Representative
  James White during the 84th Legislative Session; and
         WHEREAS, Since joining the staff through the Texas
  Legislative Internship Program, Mr. Griffin has provided vital
  assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in
  addition to learning more about the legislative process and the
  issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained
  valuable experience in the field of public service; and
         WHEREAS, The son of Varonica and Steve Griffin, Mr. Griffin
  is a senior political science major at Stephen F. Austin State
  University; involved in student life and the community, he has
  worked in the Residence Department, hosting events and enforcing
  university regulations, and he is an executive officer in Driving
  Jacks, an organization that provides safe, free, and confidential
  rides home to all Nacogdoches residents; and
         WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his
  duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby commend Zackary Griffin for his service as a
  legislative intern in the office of State Representative James
  White and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in
  all his endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Griffin as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
