R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Public education is an endeavor in which all Texans |
|
|
have a stake, and those individuals who devote themselves to the |
|
|
development of our young people are helping to ensure that the |
|
|
future of the Lone Star State rests in capable hands; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, One such individual is Andrew Hoskins, assistant |
|
|
band director at Juan Seguin High School, who has demonstrated an |
|
|
outstanding commitment to his students by achieving a perfect |
|
|
record of attendance for the 2014-2015 school year; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A 9th through 12th grade teacher, Mr. Hoskins works |
|
|
tirelessly to equip his pupils with the knowledge and skills they |
|
|
will need to become responsible and productive citizens; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Providing for the diverse educational needs of our |
|
|
future leaders is an undertaking of paramount importance, and |
|
|
Andrew Hoskins embodies the spirit of service and dedication that |
|
|
are the hallmarks of a good teacher; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Andrew Hoskins on his perfect attendance |
|
|
during the 2014-2015 school year and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Hoskins as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
