R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Senior Care Centers of Dallas is a respected leader |
|
|
in the senior nursing care and rehabilitation industry in Texas; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The company's 11,000 employees offer skilled |
|
|
nursing, assisted living, and memory care services to approximately |
|
|
9,500 seniors in more than 90 locations across the Lone Star State; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Under the capable leadership of chief executive |
|
|
officer Mark McKenzie, the corporation has grown in recent years, |
|
|
acquiring more facilities, upgrading its technology, and becoming |
|
|
the largest skilled nursing provider in the state; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Senior Care Centers is creating employment |
|
|
opportunities and offering older Texans a safe, comfortable, and |
|
|
compassionate living environment, and in so doing, it is making a |
|
|
significant contribution to the economy and quality of life in many |
|
|
Texas communities; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Senior Care Centers and extend sincere |
|
|
best wishes to Mr. McKenzie and the company's staff for continued |
|
|
success in their important work; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Senior Care Centers as an expression of high regard by |
|
|
the Texas House of Representatives. |
