R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dongmei Li has ably served her fellow Texans as a |
|
|
Legislative Education Fellow in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Mary E. González during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Li has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; her |
|
|
primary focus has been on education issues, and while learning more |
|
|
about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the |
|
|
Lone Star State, she has gained valuable experience in the field of |
|
|
public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Jinzhong Li and Tianmei Giu, Ms. Li |
|
|
is a student in the educational policy and planning doctoral |
|
|
program at The University of Texas at Austin; she has been a Jackson |
|
|
Scholar and a recipient of a College of Education Continuing |
|
|
Fellowship; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a Legislative Education Fellow with skill and dedication, |
|
|
and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine |
|
|
work; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Dongmei Li for her service as a |
|
|
Legislative Education Fellow in the office of State Representative |
|
|
Mary E. González and extend to her sincere best wishes for |
|
|
continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Li as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
