R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Austin Nichols of Jasper High School has earned |
|
|
well-deserved recognition for his first place win at the East Texas |
|
|
Piano Solo Festival Competition on April 11, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Nichols performed two pieces in the preliminary |
|
|
round and earned a spot as a finalist in the Winners Recital; at the |
|
|
conclusion of the event, he was named the first place winner in the |
|
|
Advanced II category; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his participation in the East Texas Piano |
|
|
Solo Festival Competition, Austin Nichols has demonstrated |
|
|
outstanding talent and dedication, and he may indeed look forward |
|
|
to a future bright with promise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Austin Nichols on winning first |
|
|
place at the East Texas Piano Solo Festival Competition and extend |
|
|
to him sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Nichols as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
