R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Andrew Kyle Almaguer of Friendswood is an |
|
|
outstanding young Texan who brightens the lives of all who know him; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student at Friendswood High School, Mr. Almaguer |
|
|
is part of the PALS program, and he is also involved in the theater |
|
|
department at the junior high; a talented bowler as well, he |
|
|
lettered in bowling at FHS and earned a gold medal in the sport at |
|
|
the Special Olympics; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Lillie and Americo Almaguer, Andrew |
|
|
Almaguer never met a stranger, and he has won the affection of many |
|
|
people through his civic engagement; he is an ambassador for the |
|
|
Texas Oilman's Bass Invitational, a junior firefighter with the |
|
|
Friendswood Volunteer Fire Department, and a valued congregant of |
|
|
Mary Queen Catholic Church; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Andrew Kyle Almaguer brings joy and enthusiasm to |
|
|
each new task he takes on, and he is indeed deserving of special |
|
|
recognition for his achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby recognize Andrew Kyle Almaguer for his |
|
|
contributions to his school and community and extend to him sincere |
|
|
best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Almaguer as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
