R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Station Supervisor Nola Worthington is among the |
|
|
Texas Department of Public Safety personnel from House District 68 |
|
|
who have rendered outstanding service at the Texas-Mexico border; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated contributions to Operation |
|
|
Strong Safety, Station Supervisor Worthington has helped to |
|
|
maintain border security in the Rio Grande Valley and to reduce |
|
|
crime in the region; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Leaving her family and community behind for extended |
|
|
periods of time to fulfill her duties in this vital mission, Station |
|
|
Supervisor Worthington has willingly placed herself in harm's way |
|
|
to safeguard the lives and property of her fellow citizens, and she |
|
|
is truly deserving of our gratitude and praise; now, therefore, be |
|
|
it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Texas Department of Public Safety |
|
|
Station Supervisor Nola Worthington for her valorous efforts at the |
|
|
Texas-Mexico border as part of Operation Strong Safety and extend |
|
|
to her sincere appreciation for her admirable public service; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Station Supervisor Worthington as an expression of |
|
|
high regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
