R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, Trooper Brandon Tidmore is among the Texas |
|
|
Department of Public Safety personnel from House District 68 who |
|
|
have rendered outstanding service at the Texas-Mexico border; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through his dedicated contributions to Operation |
|
|
Strong Safety, Trooper Tidmore has helped to maintain border |
|
|
security in the Rio Grande Valley and to reduce crime in the region; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Leaving his family and community behind for extended |
|
|
periods of time to fulfill his duties in this vital mission, Trooper |
|
|
Tidmore has willingly placed himself in harm's way to safeguard the |
|
|
lives and property of his fellow citizens, and he is truly deserving |
|
|
of our gratitude and praise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Texas Department of Public Safety |
|
|
Trooper Brandon Tidmore for his valorous efforts at the |
|
|
Texas-Mexico border as part of Operation Strong Safety and extend |
|
|
to him sincere appreciation for his admirable public service; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Trooper Tidmore as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
