R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Trooper Rachel Price-Russell is among the Texas |
|
|
Department of Public Safety personnel from House District 68 who |
|
|
have rendered outstanding service at the Texas-Mexico border; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Through her dedicated contributions to Operation |
|
|
Strong Safety, Trooper Price-Russell has helped to maintain border |
|
|
security in the Rio Grande Valley and to reduce crime in the region; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Leaving her family and community behind for extended |
|
|
periods of time to fulfill her duties in this vital mission, Trooper |
|
|
Price-Russell has willingly placed herself in harm's way to |
|
|
safeguard the lives and property of her fellow citizens, and she is |
|
|
truly deserving of our gratitude and praise; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Texas Department of Public Safety |
|
|
Trooper Rachel Price-Russell for her valorous efforts at the |
|
|
Texas-Mexico border as part of Operation Strong Safety and extend |
|
|
to her sincere appreciation for her admirable public service; and, |
|
|
be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Trooper Price-Russell as an expression of high regard |
|
|
by the Texas House of Representatives. |
