R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The members of two Rapoport Academy fifth-grade |
|
teams distinguished themselves with their performance at the Heart |
|
of Texas Regional History Fair on February 20, 2015; and |
|
WHEREAS, Tylan Harris and Jim White earned the National |
|
Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution Outstanding |
|
Entry Award, while Dylan Dunn and Kelsey Santiago received the |
|
Colonial Dames of America (Texas) Award for the best project on U.S. |
|
colonial history as well as the Elizabeth Gordon Bradley Daughters |
|
of the American Revolution Award for their entry on the |
|
Revolutionary War; and |
|
WHEREAS, With their fine showing at the Heart of Texas |
|
Regional History Fair, these exceptional students have brought |
|
credit to their school, and they may take justifiable pride in the |
|
skill and dedication they have demonstrated; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Rapoport Academy fifth-grade |
|
teams on their performance at the Heart of Texas Regional History |
|
Fair and extend to the members sincere best wishes for continued |
|
success; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the teams as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
