R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Memories of a life well lived may bring comfort to
  the family and friends of Verle O. Crick of Corpus Christi, who
  passed away on February 28, 2015, at the age of 95; and
         WHEREAS, Born to William and Arletta Crick in Harlingen on
  November 29, 1919, Verle Crick served his country as a member of the
  United States Navy during World War II; and
         WHEREAS, He married the former Ruth Hughes in April 1942, and
  they were the proud parents of two children, Bob and Verletta; the
  family moved to Hart in 1952, where Mr. Crick farmed with his father
  for a number of years; and
         WHEREAS, Verle Crick lived a caring and purposeful life, and
  he will forever be remembered with deep affection by all who held
  him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Verle O. Crick and
  extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his
  daughter, Verletta Crick; to his daughter-in-law, DeLynn Crick; to
  his grandchildren, Tara Mizell, Brian Wolf, Barbara Smith, Kyle
  Crick, and Kaci Stuart; to his three great-grandchildren; to his
  niece, Linda Smith; and to his other relatives and friends; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Verle
  Crick.
