R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Taylor Sexton has ably served his fellow Texans as |
|
an aide in the office of State Representative J. D. Sheffield |
|
during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Sexton has provided |
|
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|
in addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained |
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Brent and Tricia Sexton, Taylor Sexton is |
|
from Glen Rose and is a student at the University of North Texas, |
|
where he is completing his master's degree in public health; in |
|
addition to his academic pursuits, he has served as the student body |
|
president for the UNT Health Science Center School of Public |
|
Health; and |
|
WHEREAS, This noteworthy Texan has performed his duties as a |
|
legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|
deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |
|
be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Taylor Sexton for his service as a |
|
legislative aide in the office of State Representative |
|
J. D. Sheffield and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Sexton as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
