R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, William and Ruth Alexander of Buna celebrated their |
|
|
65th wedding anniversary on April 28, 2015, and they may indeed |
|
|
reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they have shared; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1950, Mr. and |
|
|
Mrs. Alexander exchanged the vows of matrimony in Bessmay, and over |
|
|
the course of their marriage, they have found in each other a loving |
|
|
life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Alexander count among their blessings |
|
|
their children, Cathy Litton and her husband, Steve, and Ricky |
|
|
Alexander Sr.; they are the grandparents of Ricky Alexander Jr., |
|
|
Courtney Wood and her husband, Charlie, Tiffanie Alexander, John |
|
|
Bohler, Elizabeth Hampshire and her husband, Will, and the late |
|
|
Joshua Alexander; today, their fine family also includes their |
|
|
great-grandchildren, Remy and Heath Alexander, Kaitlyn Hampshire, |
|
|
and Cameron Bohler, with whom they treasure spending many special |
|
|
occasions; and |

|
|
WHEREAS, For six and a half decades, William and Ruth |
|
|
Alexander have brought to their marriage laughter, kindness, and |
|
|
devotion, and it is a pleasure to honor them for their enduring |
|
|
commitment; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate William and Ruth Alexander and |
|
|
extend to them sincere best wishes for continued happiness; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
