R E S O L U T I O N
|

|
|
WHEREAS, The members of the Buna High School FFA dairy cattle |
|
|
judging team distinguished themselves with their first place win at |
|
|
the Area 9 contest on April 8, 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Buna High students triumphed over other top |
|
|
squads to advance to the state competition; the team included |
|
|
Jeremy Bivens, Kayle Hatch, Hannah Askew, and Lane Clark, and these |
|
|
outstanding young Texans are the first all-freshman team to |
|
|
represent BHS at the state level; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With their fine showing at the Area 9 contest, the |
|
|
members of the Buna High School FFA dairy cattle judging team have |
|
|
brought credit to their school, and they may take justifiable pride |
|
|
in the talent and dedication they have demonstrated; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate the Buna High School FFA dairy |
|
|
cattle judging team on winning its area contest and advancing to the |
|
|
state competition and extend to each team member sincere best |
|
|
wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the team as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
