R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Dr. Michiel Noe has ably served the people of El
  Paso as a member of the city council; and
         WHEREAS, Dr. Noe was first elected to represent District 5 in
  2011; during his years in office, he has played an instrumental role
  in a number of municipal projects and infrastructure improvements,
  and he has consistently advocated for adequate and accessible
  health care options for his constituents; and
         WHEREAS, In addition to his vital work on the city council,
  Dr. Noe has given generously of his time and talents to a number of
  community organizations; he is a graduate of the Neighborhood
  Leadership Academy, and he is active within the Rotary Club of El
  Paso; and
         WHEREAS, This esteemed Texan attended Permian High School,
  and went on to earn degrees from Angelo State University and the
  Texas Tech School of Medicine; he completed his residency and later
  taught in the field of obstetrics and gynecology; he entered
  private practice in 2001, when he opened Sun City Women's Health
  Care; respected within his profession, Dr. Noe is a former chief of
  obstetrics and gynecology for the Del Sol Medical Center, and he
  currently serves as a board member for the Sierra Providence East
  Medical Center and as chair of District 11 Section 1 of the American
  College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists; and
         WHEREAS, In all of his endeavors, Dr. Noe enjoys the love and
  support of his wife, Elizabeth, and he takes great pride in their
  five children; and
         WHEREAS, Each day, public servants improve the quality of
  life for their fellow citizens in innumerable ways, and the efforts
  of Dr. Michiel Noe are helping to make El Paso an even better place
  in which to live and work; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby honor Dr. Michiel Noe for his service on the El
  Paso City Council and extend to him sincere best wishes for the
  future; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Dr. Noe as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
