R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Jacob Steele Yarnell of Austin has been accepted to |
|
|
the United States Air Force Academy; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A senior at the Liberal Arts and Science Academy in |
|
|
the Austin Independent School District, Mr. Yarnell is a member of |
|
|
the National Honor Society and the United States Soccer Development |
|
|
Academy; his prowess on the soccer field earned him District 26-4A |
|
|
Defensive Player of the Year honors for 2012-2013, and he will |
|
|
continue to play for the USAFA; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Yarnell enjoys the love |
|
|
and support of his parents, William and Christina Yarnell; he is |
|
|
also the proud older brother of Nathaniel, William, and |
|
|
Christopher; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With his admission to the Air Force Academy, Jacob |
|
|
Yarnell may look forward to myriad exciting challenges and |
|
|
opportunities, and he is indeed deserving of recognition for his |
|
|
exemplary achievements; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Jacob Steele Yarnell on his |
|
|
acceptance to the United States Air Force Academy and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Yarnell as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
