R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Laura Portillo has been named the 2015 |
|
|
Paraprofessional of the Year for the Magnolia Independent School |
|
|
District; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A special education aide at Smith Elementary School, |
|
|
Ms. Portillo has played an integral role in the daily lives of her |
|
|
students, and her colleagues greatly value her role in fostering a |
|
|
supportive and encouraging environment for learning; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Helping young people to realize their potential is a |
|
|
vital responsibility, and Laura Portillo may indeed reflect with |
|
|
pride on the meaningful contributions she has made to that |
|
|
undertaking; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Laura Portillo on her selection as |
|
|
the 2015 Magnolia ISD Paraprofessional of the Year and extend to her |
|
|
sincere best wishes for continued success with her important work; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Portillo as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
