R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Taylor Henderson, a junior at Waco High School, was
  named Best Overall Advocate during the 2015 Region 12 High School
  Mock Trial Competition; and
         WHEREAS, The annual event, which took place February 9 to 12,
  2015, at Baylor Law School and the McLennan County Courthouse,
  serves to enrich the education of participants and to enhance
  awareness and appreciation of our nation's justice system; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Katrina Gray, Taylor Henderson
  competed against students from 11 schools in 3 Central Texas
  counties as a member of the Waco High School mock trial team; and
         WHEREAS, In attaining this notable accomplishment,
  Ms. Henderson demonstrated great initiative and ability, and she
  may indeed look forward to a future bright with promise; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Taylor Henderson on being named
  Best Overall Advocate during the 2015 Region 12 High School Mock
  Trial Competition and extend to her sincere best wishes for
  continued success; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Henderson as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
