R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Civil Air Patrol Cadet Stephen Parker of Waco has |
|
|
earned the Mary Feik Achievement Ribbon and promotion to cadet |
|
|
senior airman; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Named for the first woman engineer in research and |
|
|
development in the engineering division of the United States Air |
|
|
Force Air Technical Service Command, Mary Feik, this notable |
|
|
achievement is presented to CAP cadets who have demonstrated |
|
|
proficiency in a number of areas, including leadership, aerospace |
|
|
dimensions, and physical fitness; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Andria Parker, this fine young Texan |
|
|
currently attends Waco Baptist Academy; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Cadet Stephen Parker has shown discipline and a |
|
|
commitment to excellence in all his activities with the Civil Air |
|
|
Patrol, and he may indeed reflect with pride on his achievements; |
|
|
now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Stephen Parker on his |
|
|
accomplishments as a Civil Air Patrol cadet and extend to him |
|
|
sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Cadet Parker as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
