R E S O L U T I O N

|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Lendburgh Haynes of McGregor |
|
|
celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on March 7, 2015, and |
|
|
they may indeed reflect with joy on the rewarding relationship they |
|
|
have shared; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, On that memorable day in 1955, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes |
|
|
exchanged the vows of matrimony, and over the course of their |
|
|
marriage, they have found in each other a loving life partner; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes count among their blessings a |
|
|
fine family that includes their children, with whom they treasure |
|
|
spending many special occasions; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, For six decades, Mr. and Mrs. Haynes have brought to |
|
|
their marriage laughter, kindness, and devotion, and it is a |
|
|
pleasure to honor them for their enduring commitment; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Mr. and Mrs. Lendburgh Haynes on |
|
|
their 60th wedding anniversary and extend to them sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for the couple as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
