R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, Bryan Shea of Humble has ably served his fellow |
|
Texans as an intern in the district office of State Representative |
|
Dan Huberty during the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Shea has provided vital |
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, |
|
including addressing the needs of constituents; in addition to |
|
learning more about the legislative process and the issues facing |
|
citizens of the Lone Star State, he has gained valuable experience |
|
in the field of public service; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of proud parents William and Wanda Shea, |
|
Mr. Shea is a senior at the University of Houston, where he is |
|
pursuing a bachelor's degree in political science and is active in |
|
the Civic Houston Internship Program; in 2014, he earned a place on |
|
the Dean's List and was named a CHIP Internship Scholar; he has |
|
gained additional work experience as a file clerk at the law firm of |
|
Patterson, Boyd, and Lowery, P.C., and by providing patient |
|
transportation at MD Anderson Cancer Center; and |
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|
therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby commend Bryan Shea for his service as a |
|
legislative intern in the district office of State Representative |
|
Dan Huberty and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
success in all his endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Shea as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
