R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Zoe Ang has ably served her fellow Texans as an |
|
|
intern in the office of State Representative Travis Clardy during |
|
|
the 84th Legislative Session; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Ang has provided vital |
|
|
assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; in |
|
|
addition to learning more about the legislative process and the |
|
|
issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State, she has gained |
|
|
valuable experience in the field of public service; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Ang graduated from Westwood High School in |
|
|
Austin before going on to attend Stephen F. Austin State University |
|
|
in 2012; she has served her peers as the Phi Alpha president on the |
|
|
SFASU School of Social Work Student Council, and she has worked with |
|
|
her school's disability services program, taking notes for students |
|
|
in need; furthermore, she was named a finalist at the 2014 SFASU |
|
|
Undergraduate Research Conference, and she has completed a social |
|
|
work internship at Westward Trails Nursing and Rehabilitation |
|
|
Center; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her |
|
|
duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is |
|
|
indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Zoe Ang for her service as a legislative |
|
|
intern in the office of State Representative Travis Clardy and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her |
|
|
endeavors; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Ang as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
