R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Walker-Ann Wilson received well-deserved |
|
|
recognition when she was named Student of the Week at Jasper High |
|
|
School in 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The daughter of Steve and Judy Wilson, Walker-Ann |
|
|
Wilson has demonstrated humility and maturity beyond her years |
|
|
during her time at Jasper High, and she has involved herself in a |
|
|
multitude of school activities; in addition to her membership in |
|
|
the National Honor Society, she has participated in cross-country, |
|
|
Bulldogs for Christ, and the school's PELE Child Care Program; she |
|
|
is also a member of the state finalist Lady Dawgs soccer team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Wilson has proven herself a leader both in and |
|
|
out of the classroom, and her ability and initiative predict a |
|
|
bright future for this notable young Texan; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Walker-Ann Wilson on her selection |
|
|
as Jasper High School Student of the Week and extend to her sincere |
|
|
best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Wilson as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
