R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Hannah Bratton is graduating as the salutatorian of
  the senior class of Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi in
  2015; and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; Ms. Bratton has demonstrated a
  thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her
  favorite being calculus; in addition, she participated in numerous
  extracurricular activities, including yearbook, basketball, and
  National Honor Society; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of John and Johanna Bratton,
  Ms. Bratton plans to continue her education by enrolling at Texas
  A&M University to study civil engineering; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Hannah Bratton has
  earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
  and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
  to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
  this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Hannah Bratton, salutatorian of
  the Class of 2015 at Tuloso-Midway High School in Corpus Christi,
  and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
  begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Bratton as an expression of high regard by the
  Texas House of Representatives.
