R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Marc Christian Carrera Villaceran is graduating as |
|
|
the salutatorian of the senior class of Foy H. Moody High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi in 2015; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Villaceran has demonstrated a |
|
|
thorough understanding of a wide range of subjects, with his |
|
|
favorites being science and English; in addition, he participated |
|
|
in numerous extracurricular activities, including science club, |
|
|
Youth and Government, and National Honor Society; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The son of Conrado and Marites Villaceran, |
|
|
Mr. Villaceran plans to continue his education by enrolling at |
|
|
Texas A&M University--Corpus Christi to study biomedical science as |
|
|
a pre-med student; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Marc Christian |
|
|
Carrera Villaceran has earned the respect and admiration of his |
|
|
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability, |
|
|
hard work, and commitment to excellence have opened the way to |
|
|
limitless opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Marc Christian Carrera Villaceran, |
|
|
salutatorian of the Class of 2015 at Foy H. Moody High School in |
|
|
Corpus Christi, and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
|
|
success as he begins the next exciting chapter of his life; and, be |
|
|
it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Villaceran as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
