R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Kyle Eugene Barton is graduating as the salutatorian |
|
of the senior class of Banquete High School in 2015; and |
|
WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only |
|
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the |
|
highest academic standards; Mr. Barton has demonstrated a thorough |
|
understanding of a wide range of subjects, with his favorites being |
|
mathematics, science, and history; in addition, he participated in |
|
numerous extracurricular activities, including FFA, robotics, and |
|
National Honor Society; and |
|
WHEREAS, The son of Erick and Barbie Barton, Mr. Barton plans |
|
to continue his education by enrolling at Texas A&M University to |
|
study mechanical and biomedical engineering; and |
|
WHEREAS, Throughout his academic career, Kyle Eugene Barton |
|
has earned the respect and admiration of his teachers and |
|
classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and |
|
commitment to excellence have opened the way to limitless |
|
opportunities for this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be |
|
it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Kyle Eugene Barton, salutatorian |
|
of the Class of 2015 at Banquete High School, and extend to him |
|
sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the next |
|
exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. Barton as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
