R E S O L U T I O N
 
         WHEREAS, Nisha Gupta is graduating as the salutatorian of the
  senior class of Richard King High School in Corpus Christi in 2015;
  and
         WHEREAS, Earning the title of salutatorian requires not only
  intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
  highest academic standards; Ms. Gupta has demonstrated a thorough
  understanding of a wide range of subjects, with her favorites being
  mathematics and science; in addition, she participated in numerous
  extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, book
  club, and Interact Club; and
         WHEREAS, The daughter of Sunil and Sangetta Gupta, Ms. Gupta
  plans to continue her education by enrolling at Carnegie Mellon
  University to study business; and
         WHEREAS, Throughout her academic career, Nisha Gupta has
  earned the respect and admiration of her teachers and classmates,
  and her exceptional scholastic ability, hard work, and commitment
  to excellence have opened the way to limitless opportunities for
  this remarkable young Texan; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 84th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Nisha Gupta, salutatorian of the
  Class of 2015 at Richard King High School in Corpus Christi, and
  extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success as she
  begins the next exciting chapter of her life; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Ms. Gupta as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
